I've been immersed in technology since 1990, and I wasn't just a kid playing video games.
While my mom worked as an IT help desk manager, I was reading computer books she would bring home, building my own computers, editing batch files, and writing small programs in BASIC by the time I was 13.
As a high school senior in 1998, armed with top industry certifications like MCSE and CNA, along with two years of real-world IT experience, I launched an IT consulting firm that grew to serve hundreds of clients before being acquired in 2010. Today, I'm the Founder and CEO of Municibid (founded 2006) and Surplus.com (2024), two platforms transforming how governments and businesses sell surplus assets online.
With over 30 years of experience in technology and entrepreneurship, I share my thoughts and opinions on how AI is shaping our world today and in the years ahead. Feel free to subscribe to my free email list below, and/or follow me on X at @gregberryai.
